Gabriela will engage your team with questions meant to foster creative and critical skills, and think deeply about how culture reflects our identity.

NYC Art Adventure

Gallery Tour in Manhattan (2 hours) 

Join Gabriela on a gallery-hopping tour of New York City’s finest art venues, where she will guide your team through some of the most beautiful, challenging, and unique exhibitions this city has to offer. In these tours we will see art made by the world’s hottest new art-stars as well as established contemporary masters. Gabriela will discuss not only the techniques artists use to make their work, but also what the work is about: what moves the artists to make it and what role it plays in our contemporary culture. We will also gain insights into the art world’s business side: how galleries, collectors, museums, and auction houses come together to create one of the world’s largest unregulated markets.

Our tours focus on the Lower East Side, Chelsea, SoHo and Tribeca neighborhoods of Manhattan. The exact location of each tour will be determined according to the best art offerings at the time.

NYC Art Adventure Deluxe

Gallery Tour + Workshop + dinner/lunch session (4 hrs)

This half-day activity includes an interactive gallery tour, during which your team will learn about contemporary art while engaging in team-building games that are both fun and thought-provoking. Activities include curating a mock group exhibition, deciding which artworks should go into a museum’s collection and which are better off forgotten, and learning how to start your own budding art collection. The first half of the day will be spent in a guided visit to contemporary art galleries, during which teams will engage in team-building tasks. We will end at a restaurant in the area, where we’ll have lunch or dinner and workshop our findings.
